Westar Torque Struts EM-8698 Editorial Review
The Westar Torque Strut Mount has garnered a mixed reception among customers, demonstrating both its strengths and weaknesses through various user experiences. Many buyers expressed satisfaction with the product, noting that the quality surpassed that of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components. Users appreciated the stiffness of the rubber, which created a sense of durability and secure fit. The installation process was frequently described as simple, often involving just two bolts, with some customers stating that all necessary hardware was included. In particular, those who replaced strut mounts for models like the BMW and Toyota Camry reported a perfect fit and functionality, stating that the component alleviated previous issues effectively. However, not all reviews were positive. A notable downside mentioned by a few users involved challenges with fitment; one customer experienced trouble installing the mount in their vehicle even though it was advertised as compatible. Upon closer inspection, they discovered discrepancies between the new mount and the original part that led to the incompatibility. Furthermore, while initial performance was praised, there were concerns regarding longevity, as one user noted that the mount failed within a year of installation. This highlights a possible variance in quality control. In summary, the Westar Torque Strut Mount appears to be a strong alternative to OEM parts in terms of performance and ease of installation but may possess some inConsistencies in fit and durability based on individual experiences. **
