Smithsonian Microscopes 22249 Editorial Review
The SmithsonianNSI 150x/450x/900x Microscope Kit is a toy microscope that comes with multiple magnification settings. The light source can be powered by two AA batteries that are inserted in the base of the microscope. Some customers have complained about the quality of the microscope, stating that the lenses are likely plastic and the overall quality is poor. However, others have said that it is a decent starter microscope for younger individuals, and that their children or grandchildren had no issues with it. Additionally, there were some reviews that mentioned scratches on the lenses and the microscope being cheaply made for a product that had the Smithsonian name associated with it.
