The Master Massage Berkeley Ergonomic Split Saddle Stool has garnered a mixed reception from users, with opinions split on its comfort and functionality. Many reviewers appreciate the added cushioning of the Berkeley compared to other high-end options like the Kanewell stool. This aspect has led some customers to prefer it over the more contoured design of pricier alternatives. However, there are notable issues that have emerged across multiple reviews. Some users have experienced significant quality control problems, including faulty gas lifts that cause the chair to sink unexpectedly while in use. This problem has turned a few reviewers off the product entirely, leading them to Consider return options after trying out the stool. Additionally, several customers have reported durability issues, with bases buckling or components failing after a short period of use. Another concern raised by users is the potential for discomfort in specific anatomical areas, which some attributed to the design of the seat. While the stool is intended to promote better posture, not all users found it suitable, particularly individuals with larger body profiles or specific seating preferences. In summary, while the Master Massage Berkeley Ergonomic Split Saddle Stool can offer comfort and support, particularly for those who appreciate its design and cushioning, quality issues and user-specific comfort challenges may limit its effectiveness for some. **
