What materials are used in the construction of the Sparco QRT-R seat?

The Sparco QRT-R seat is crafted using a fiberglass composite that ensures both durability and reduced weight. This construction not only provides strength but also enhances performance by minimizing added weight in race cars. This combination of materials is crucial for users prioritizing safety and performance in motorsport.

Is the Sparco QRT-R seat suitable for everyday use?

While the Sparco QRT-R seat is primarily designed for racing applications, it can be used in custom vehicles or project cars for a sportier aesthetic. Can the Sparco QRT-R seat be installed in any vehicle?

The Sparco QRT-R seat can be installed in vehicles that have compatible mounting points for racing seats. You’ll need specific brackets and possibly custom modifications to ensure a secure fit in non-standard vehicles. This versatility allows enthusiasts to enhance their Track or Street setup, transforming ordinary rides into performance-driven machines. As always, consult professionals for installation guidance to maintain safety and compliance.

How does the fire-retardant feature of the Sparco QRT-R seat work?

The fire-retardant feature of the Sparco QRT-R seat involves advanced materials that resist ignition and slow fire propagation. This technology aims to offer additional protection in the event of an accident or fire, making it a critical feature for track enthusiasts and professional racers alike. This seat is an essential addition for those who prioritize safety during intense racing scenarios, providing peace of mind along with performance.

What colors are available for the Sparco QRT-R seat?

The Sparco QRT-R seat is primarily available in black, which offers a classic and professional look that complements most vehicle interiors. While customization options may vary, the black color enhances the seat's fire-retardant fabric features while maintaining a sleek appearance. This design ensures compatibility with various interior styles, ideal for those who want both aesthetics and performance in their racing seat.

What is the weight of the Sparco QRT-R seat?

The Sparco QRT-R seat is lightweight, weighing approximately 6-8 kg, depending on the specific configuration.
