Hurst Shifters 3838500 Editorial Review
The Hurst 3838500 Pro-Matic 2 Automatic Gear Shift Lever Kit is a popular choice for car enthusiasts looking to upgrade their automatic transmission shifters. With its vintage muscle car look and ratcheting mechanism, it allows for quick and precise gear changes without the risk of skipping a gear. Installation is generally easy, with customers stating that it is no more difficult than any other shifter. The kit comes complete with cables, brackets, and a backup light switch. However, some customers have reported that the cover and surrounding materials feel cheap and not up to par with the overall quality of the shifter. While the majority of customers have had positive experiences with the Pro-Matic 2, there have been a few complaints. Some customers have encountered issues with compatibility, with the shifter not working as expected with their specific transmissions. Additionally, a few customers have reported receiving defective units that were not able to properly engage the ratchet mechanism. Overall, the Hurst 3838500 Pro-Matic 2 Automatic Gear Shift Lever Kit is a solid option for those looking to enhance their driving experience in their automatic transmission vehicles. The vintage design and reliable performance make it a popular choice among car enthusiasts.
