The 12" Wixey Digital Protractor is a quality device that is intuitive to operate and accurate according to multiple customers. The easy band is Consistently accurate, making it a very usable tool for welding purposes that locks in position when needed. However, one buyer ordered two and received neither accurately measuring the same square. Although the device is described as magnetic, the magnetic inserts in its arms are too weak to stick to a strip magnet on a shop wall, as one reviewer discovered. But, magnetics on the device are helpful in setting it up. Overall, this protractor is great and some users found it to be an upgrade from the 8" model.
