The blades are designed to be sharp enough to cut paper but safe enough for children to use under supervision. The vibrant turquoise and red colors also make them visually appealing to kids, encouraging them to engage in creative activities while ensuring they have the right tools at their disposal.

How do the training lever features work?

The training lever on Fiskars Training Scissors helps guide preschoolers in using scissors safely. This mechanism allows them to learn the proper cutting motion without the risk of cutting themselves. As children squeeze the handles, the lever assists their movements, ensuring they understand how to hold and operate scissors effectively. This feature makes these scissors a practical educational tool for developing basic scissor skills in a fun and engaging way.

Are these scissors suitable for all types of paper?

Yes, Fiskars Training Scissors are suitable for cutting various types of paper, including construction paper, craft paper, and cardstock. They can handle light to medium-weight paper, making them perfect for school projects, scrapbooking, and crafting activities. What age group is best suited for these scissors?

Fiskars Training Scissors are designed for children aged 3 and up, making them an excellent choice for preschoolers. These scissors are tailored to meet the developmental needs of younger children, allowing them to gain confidence in their cutting abilities in a safe manner. How should these scissors be stored when not in use?

It's important to store Fiskars Training Scissors in a safe place when they are not being used, to keep them out of reach of younger children. A designated art supply box or drawer is a great option.
