Lumitec Interior Lights 101525 Editorial Review
The Lumitec Lighting 101525, Mantis Underwater Dock Lighting Kit has been well-received by customers who appreciate both its aesthetic appeal and functional benefits. Many users have highlighted how these lights significantly enhance dock safety and create a vibrant atmosphere for night activities such as fishing. The Construction quality is often praised, with customers noting that the lights are well-built and durable. Installation is noted as relatively straightforward, though some users recommend taking preventative measures like using gloves and tin snips for optimal setup, particularly around pilings. Despite the positive feedback regarding the lights themselves, there are a few drawbacks that potential buyers should Consider. One notable issue is the maintenance requirement, as users are advised to remove and de-scale the lights approximately every 30 days, which some found to be a deterrent. Additionally, there are concerns with the control system, as it fails to remember the last set color after power outages or shutdowns, requiring reprogramming each time. Overall, the Lumitec lighting system is celebrated for its brightness, ease of installation, and visual appeal, making it a popular choice among dock owners looking to enhance their outdoor spaces. **
